so dfc's stepsister has a twitter. and i'm a creeper, so i followed her. which, whatever, she has other fans following her, so i didn't think anything of it.

HOWEVER. apparently if you follow her, she follows you back. D: so, now she's going to see me talking all the time about how i want to bone her brother! D: D: D: AWKWARD. and idk what to do. i mean, sure, i could kick her off and block her, but...i can't do that to dfc's (step)sister! whatever. she's totally going to end up unfollowing me once she discovers how annoying/spammy/inappropriate i am. :/

went and spent a couple of days with themightybee this weekend! she is awesome, as usual, and on saturday we went to an inside the actors' studio sort of shindig with the lovely angela kinsey. she is funny and adorable and charming and it was exciting. she ships dwangela pretty hard. hee. we also (that'd be sarah and i, not angela and i) ate at the melting pot (YUM) and lounged about and watched some freaks & geeks. good times. (we also were together when we learned about bea arthur's death. so fucking sad. she was a hell of a lady. ♥ RIP *clings to betty white forfuckingever*)

then tonight i saw believers never die 2! it was SO hot and humid in the venue, ugh. but cobras were fucking amazing, as usual, and then metro station was too embarrassing to be real (mostly trace, omg D:, he must be stopped, you guys) and then FALL OUT BOY HAPPENED TO MY FACE. i love them, band of my heart, favorite band ever, etc etc. and they fucking played "hum hallelujah"!!! i was just thinking today on my drive back from rhode island that i was sad that "hum hallelujah" hadn't made the setlist, because it's my favorite fall out boy song. and then tonight pete's all "we haven't played this on this tour, but we want to tonight, it means a lot to us [blah blah whatever]" and the first chords sounded and i lost my shit. <33333 sadly, tho, we didn't get "chicago is so two years ago." :( i would've taken that over "tiffany blews" tbh.

soooooo. i want to do a real review/recap of my amazing weekend in atlantic city, but i'm tired and inarticulate, so let's FOBDFC trail it.

- i retrieved amber from the airport (+10)

- we didn't get lost on the way to AC/the borgata (+10)

- we were stuck waiting to check into the hotel for like six hours, because they needed to put the full amount + $125/day for incidentals on a card and i didn't have enough available balance, so we couldn't check in until kelly arrived (-10)

- spent entirely too long waiting for this to reappear onscreen so i could take a pic of it (-5), but also eeeee his face (+5)


-drank some yummy sangria (+5)

- took the jitney to the boardwalk and back, which was way more entertaining than it should've been (+20)

- brooke and kelly finally made it (+20)

- drinking, mad giggling and wacky hijinks ensued (+10)

- we didn't go to sleep (except for amber) until around 7 a.m. (-5)

- lurked around most of the day on friday, hoping to pawn off gifts on dfc and nft, which was tedious (-5)

- succeeded in giving gift to dfc (+10, would've been more but i didn't talk to him)

- wayyyyy later that night, also succeeded in giving gift to nft (+10, again points docked because i didn't talk to him)

- my first time hearing "permanent" live and also neal with his bow for the guitar (+20)

- "hot for teacher" both nights (+20)

- also "man in the box" on saturday (+20)

- afterparty at mixx was superfun (+20)

- but VIP was a total waste of money (-10)

- B bar after the afterparty was AWESOME, i was wasted in a fun happy way (+25)

- ran into rstar at some point and drunkenly quizzed him about stuff and he was supersweet (+20)

- bought a couple rounds of shots (+10)

- cute english boy bought me a shot (+10)

- sexually harassed @RyanStar on twitter (+10?/-10?)

- late-night fries with bleu cheese dressing (+10)

- had to leave brooke and kelly the next day (-20)

- and then amber this morning (-10)

- but it all HAPPENED (+50)


- and i get brooke and kelly and dfc and nft and skibby and peekaboo and jazzercise and rstar again IN ONE WEEK (+100)

TOTAL: 835+/-10 depending on if you think skanky twitters at rstar are good or bad.

i'm calling my weekend a win.

HAPPY (BELATED) THANKSGIVING!

I ran out of space in my horn of plenty…

I am writing this blog from about 35000 feet in the air as I travel back to LA, concluding my trip to Kansas City for Thanksgiving. Just to help paint a picture for you…

First off, let me give everyone a sorely belated Happy Thanksgiving. I spent my break with family and a chest cold, and before you give me the, “awwww, that’s terrible….” (This phrase should be in reference to the chest cold, not my family), it was a blessing in disguise, as it kept me home, resting, as opposed to going out with friends every night to try to catch up, which would’ve been the exact opposite of resting. ( I truly enjoyed my holiday, and suffice to say, I have MORE than enough to be thankful for this year, every single one of you included. )

he is my very, very favorite.

I HAVE A PROBLEM.

i remember watching barack obama speak in 2004 from the democratic national convention. i'd never heard of him and knew almost nothing about him, but i remember turning to scott, and telling him, "this guy is going to be president someday." scott was skeptical, but i was sure.

i am so, so honored to have been able to vote for this man, to sit with friends on this historic night and scream and clap and cry because barack obama was elected the 44th president of the united states of america. his speech tonight was perfect and moving and left me in happy, hopeful tears.

my heart is so full right now.
