oh hai bbs hai! in case anyone doesn't have twitter/doesn't follow my twitter and was concerned about my, y'know, being alive *waves to lara*, i'm fine! XD i spent a few days with my lovely bff during which we made couscous and cupcakes and bought new underwear and watched rent and hedwig and my so-called life. win all around, i would say.

i have two episodes left of buffy and it's breaking my heart, tbh. also, i tried to resist because i lovelovelove buffy/angel and also i'm stubborn, but spike and buffy kind of kill me all over. the two of them in that house in "touched"? my HEART!

saw idol last night. yawn. i hated almost everyone, and even danny (who i think is absolutely adorable) underwhelmed me and was waaaaaaay overpimped, imo. and wow, what a lot of sucktastic song choices. i miss dfc on my tv every week.

i think i bitch about this every time an album i'm excited about leaks/is about to be released (i definitely remember being annoyed by it for pretty. odd. and the glass passenger), but nonetheless, people who wig out about "spoilers" for music are ridic. omg, clearly if you see a few lines of lyrics it's going to ruin the album. O.o

does anyone else get annoyed when fan communities for musicians or bands or whatever upload music by that artist, like, stuff that's available for sale? i mean, i have no problem with people uploading leaks or rare tracks or live recordings, but beyond that i find it sketchy. i guess i feel like if you're a big enough fan of an artist to join a community for them, if you want their album you should be willing to pay for it? i mean, if i consider myself a fan of an arist (or band, whatever), i want them to succeed, i want to support them, i want to actually buy their music. i'm not going to lie, i download plenty of stuff, but it's usually things i'm just checking out or whatever. however, i have paid for every FOB, cobra, panic, gym class, kelly clarkson, butch walker, etc. album that i own, because i admire and respect those artists and i'm happy to give them my money. i can't imagine being all "omg, i love *insert band here*" and just downloading all of their music for free. so when fan communities allow uploads of that artist's music, i personally get a little >:O about it. i mean, clearly people will find downloads of things if that's their inclination, but i guess i would expect that fan communities would encourage people to support the artists.

am i weird on this? (the community stuff, or just the idea that real fans pay for the music, or...whatever!)

he deleted the actual post, but the rest was basically that i think he comes across as a confident performer, but i don't understand how people are getting "smug" from his behavior. i was legitimately curious, because i really don't see it, and i was hoping someone would give me an actual example. i wasn't bitchy or anything, i SWEAR.

Yeah, that's how subjective opinion works. Banned for demanding proof for subjective opinions that can't be proven in order to bully non-fans on the thread.

anyone who read blake's thread last year will probably remember a poster by the name of stormy4 who was a total idiot. i've been seeing her around various AI fandoms for something like four years. anyway, she came back under a new name (i forgot it already) and had been posting repeatedly that ramiele is the chosen one this year (i know, like...what?). and then she got banned again, and now she's back AGAIN and posting under the name Mcgillicuddy4 and she was agreeing with herself like so:

ok. the post from "not long ago" was by HER on her previous name (with everyone else telling her she was crazy). so i quoted that and simply said:

dude, i am starting all sorts of trouble on myspace lately; what is with me?

some chick posted a couple of weird, bitchy comments on the blaker girls, because they're selling 3 tour tickets (and throwing in a signed blake pic) on ebay with an opening bid of $207. she also bitched about the $20 for shipping.

so, being me, "i (who can't stfu on myspace)", i sent her a message, proclaiming:

hey, it's not really any of my business, but i saw your comment on the blaker girls myspace about them selling the tix for $207 dollars - tickets are $68.50 plus an $11.80 ticketmaster fee, which makes them roughly 80 bucks apiece, so the face value on those three tickets is $240-ish. if they sell for $207 they're not even getting back what they paid for them. i don't see how that's remotely unreasonable.

and yes, generally shipping three tickets wouldn't cost $20, but seeing as how the show is in two days, overnighting them would certainly raise the cost. and they did offer to hand-deliver them at the show. *shrug*

this chick who posts on twop all the time in the blake thread AND on the SYTYCD board (who has always driven me completely insane; she's a real piece of work) responded to a comment someone had made about how "this is the country who voted for bush...twice" by replying that she was proud to have voted for him twice.

01. well, color me not surprised.
02. that is NOT OK by me. honestly, if you want to be a republican, ok. if you voted for bush once, fine. even if you voted for him twice. i mean, i question your judgement, but it's your right to vote for that douche. i make my choices, you can make yours.

but honestly? if you voted for him twice, and you're PROUD about that? still? if by this point, you aren't, at least a little, saying "oops"? if you are really fully ok having voted, twice, for that man?

well, in that case i really don't know what the fuck to do with you. except scoff in your general direction.

isaiah washington enters "treatment"

Isaiah Washington has entered a treatment facility. This is what sources connected to ABC and Touchstone have confirmed to me, after Life & Style magazine broke the story about an hour ago.

According to my ABC sources, one of the options the higher-ups at ABC/Disney had been considering was to release Washington from the cast of Grey's Anatomy, without giving him a farewell episode. However, I'm told by an insider that Washington agreed to do "whatever it takes" to keep his position at Grey's and to make amends with the gay and lesbian community. He also vowed to seek help for his psychological issues—hence, his entry into a treatment facility this morning.

there's also statements from shonda, isaiah and the president of glaad. i personally think it's lame - he's going into counseling to learn to not be an arrogant, homophobic douchebag? that sounds like a personality flaw to me, not a psychological issue. :x they should fire his ass.
