imagine seeing this edit only after you buy the video off of i-tunes and realizing that noone even had the balls to call you and tell you they were changing the video and cutting parts.

id recommend viewing the video on a site that it doesnt cost you any money as this is NOT the edit the band approved.

two quick american idol complaints while my stolen wireless holds up. (i should be home tonight, yay!)

01. i knew carly had a big ($2 million) record contract previously and all, but i didn't realize that randy jackson was the senior vice-president of A&R at the time. sketchy, sketchy, sketchy. i was willing to overlook the contract, but the connection to randy seems wildly inappropriate.

god, you guys, i just realized that i desperately want fall out boy to be guest mentor people on idol this year. i know the producers plan to try and bring the focus back to the contestants this season, which is a good idea, but omg, can't you imagine patrick being all PATRICK and singing with them and trying to help them not suck and with the producing and arranging?! and he'd be a little awkward because he's patrick stump but he'd also be completely right on about everything because, hi, he's patrick stump.

and, uh, pete could help with make-up and troh could give them hair tips and andy could stand kind of geekily in the back and try and get his "fuck city" tat on camera.

but mostly patrick, omg, how cute would he be?!?!?!
