Aw. I don't generally watch the auditions so my introduction to him was Hollywood week. But he was my favorite from the get go. Purely on the strength of his voice really. (I love how his voice in this video is actually causing an echo effect. Wow.)

Sometimes I wonder if the hair was an attempt to see if he could get them to say no. ^_^

still, watching that audition, it is so obvious how talented and poised and fantastic he was right off the bat. I remember turning to MH and saying "the dude with the red faux hawk is TOTALLY going to win this"
