i keep meaning to tell you...jack's will play at a different time, so it's good that you have a seat so you can go see them and not have to stand in line to wait for dfc.

and lots of beer drinking timez

how did you get a seat? I want! I thought it was standing room only... when I saw Daughtry it was like general admission.. people bought folding chairs for the lawn but most everyone stood.

if you visit the sunfest web site it explains it all. basically, there is seating at the whole front of the stage and then behind that is standing room. you need to buy admission to get into SunFest. A 1-day pass starts at $29. Then if you want reserved seats for the concert (May 2, 9:30pm, Main Stage) you pay extra, but reserved seats for the public don't go on sale until March 26th. If you want to get your reserved seats now, you can buy a SunFest Rockstar membership. It costs $148 and gives you admission for all 5 days of the festival and the "right" to purchase 2 reserved tickets per day right now.

There are 3 rows literally on stage. Those tix are $150 each. The first 6 rows on the "floor" are $28 each (there are very few of these left and they are all the way at the end of each row). The next section are $24 each and it goes down from there.

I got seats because when I went to John Mayer, I had gone to another show earlier in the day and by the time I got to GA for John, I was literally about a mile away. I could hardly see him. I figured if we want to drink beer and watch Jack's Mannequin, we should probably have a seat.

Awesome. This sounds cool, sadly I know no one in Florida. Might end up at the Virginia show though, but like the free general admission. Can't really ask friends who don't know DC to pay $50 for seats.
