so i'm finally watching the season premiere of FNL, and i'm only like 10 minutes in, maybe, but is there going to be some kind of explanation for what the hell's going on? like for example what a certain dude is doing in a certain young lady's bedroom? because unless i blacked out and missed some extra eps at the end of S2 (or else forgot a lot of things that happened? i guess it WAS a long time ago), i am confused.

however, despite my epic confusion, ugh, i love this show sfm. if i could recommend one show to people, it'd be friday night lights. HEARTS in my EYES, you guys.

jesus christ, taylor kitsch looks good. i realize that this show is amazing and perfect and full of amazing writing and incredible acting, but i'm shallow and had to lead with riggins' hotness because DAMN. lyla, you are one lucky bitch.

i am woeful that we didn't get to see tim winning lyla over, tho, because that's always the best part of tv romances, come on! :(

i love tyra to bits. i was so sad for her when she was all defeated and then i totally went all \o/ when she marched into that douche's office and told him off. SO PROUD OF HER!

julie is so annoying, lol. but i was happy to see her being annoying because it meant i was watching FNL. :D

coach and tami continue to be the very best tv married couple ever. (props to sandy and kirsten cohen, tho, i just have to say. ugh, i miss the oc.)

i obviously hate the new quarterback kid already. *glares* poor matt! the shot of his grandma in the stands looking all dejected broke my heart.

I kinda felt the same way. I guess we're supposed to just accept that that certain boy managed to win that girl over somehow. Also, there's not really explanation on how a certain lady got to be the principal.

But mostly? I don't care. That show is golden.

Tim and Lyla have become my surprise!favorite couple on the entire show. But I agree, the seduction would have been wonderful to see!

Smash ALWAYS gets to my heartstrings. He has a way of really cranking up the waterworks. SNIFF.

I know. I've been watching it via Indaeo's downloads (thanks for that, btw), but my Mom is watching it for the first time right know and she calls me all, "what what what? How did... happen?"

I don't mind Julie the way that some people do. Even when she's annoying, I think she's realistically, 16-year-old girl annoying.

i don't really mind julie either. like you said, she's annoying in the sense that she's like a real 16-year-old girl. which i appreciate, mostly.

now i'm so tempted to go download the rest of the season, but i'm containing myself. i'm still up to my eyeballs in buffy anyway.

maybe they'll give some riggins/lyla explanation. although, really, with riggins, who needs a reason for why he's in your bed.

& that whole scene with buddy becomes a million times funnier once you realize he's in her room.
