When the three of them tangle together, he's still the same boy. He kisses Neal just as hungrily; he tugs at Andy's hair the same way as always. He makes the same needy sounds before he comes, wears the same soft, sleepy smile after.
It was never really in the open, the things they did. The people who knew, knew, and others only assumed. Now, though, it's secret, at all costs. There's too much at stake for any “indiscretions,” the label said.
So he's careful now. He doesn't love them any less, he swears -- he just loves them quietly.

Dave shrugs, makes a basket. Passes the ball to Jim.
“It's just frustrating, is all. I mean, I'm a decent guy. Supposedly I'm good-looking, I was nice to her, I'm a musician – hey, nice shot – but still it all went to hell.”
“You sound like a country song.”
“I feel like a country song.”
“You'll be all right. I mean, look at me and Pam--” Jim begins.
“I'd rather just look at Pam, if-- ”
“Watch it, Cook.”
They both crack up.
