speaking of gossip girl, i'd gotten WAY behind and i finally got caught up last night. chuck and blair just kill me all over. leighton gets prettier by the day. jenny is an idiot. lily's secret was about as surprising as clay aiken being gay (props to clay for his cute bf, btw). cyrus is total love. and when did i start loving nate so much?!?

Franco was an awesome surprise- on the one hand, they throw out a WTF choice like that, and other the other, they get freaking lazy and keep nominating Entourage and Tony Shalhoub. And I don't think Steve Carell is ever going to win another major award as long as Baldwin is around and Monk is still on the air, which is a shame

S2 is Season of Nate, in an underhanded way. I remember you posting about him after the first couple of episodes, all, "where've YOU been, Chace Crawford?" And yeah, Lily's secret was pretty much DUH, but then I thought about it, and it's like, what other kind of issue could have such ramifications for Lily and Rufus? Not a drug problem, not a suicide attempt... while trite, the OMG!Baby does fit the bill.

Re: Nate, I know! I have no idea when it happened for me, maybe when I realized what an unrepentant tool Dan was lol.

I'm happy about the GG noms this year, it seems like a lot of people who deserved attention got nominations, so that's pretty cool. Also, I'm pretty happy that January Jones got nominated for Mad Men, I'm not sure if she was last season, but she definitely earned it this season. Also, I'm really glad about NPH, although I still think HIMYM should get some GG attention at some point.
