01. i made baked ziti tonight for dinner! i'd never made it before, and it was actually moderately awesome. \o/ there may be hope for me yet.

02. so, like, we've had the most basic cable package possible for over a year, and then...something happened, we just discovered, and now we have like 70 channels? i'm...ohhhh my god, wait. back in, like, may or june i called to have our cable upgraded and someone was supposed to come here to do it, or something? and i wound up not being home the day they were supposed to come, and i assumed they had to come in the house to do...whatever it was they had to do. and so i just said "fuck it" and decided i didn't need all those channels anyway.

but maybe they didn't need to come in my house, and they just came by and did whatever, and it didn't matter that no one was home?

and i've had all these channels for like 4 months and just didn't know it because we had the remote programmed to the old lineup?

WHATEVER, I HAVE COMEDY CENTRAL AND TONIGHT I WATCHED BARACK OBAMA ON THE DAILY SHOW AND TOMORROW I WILL TIVO TRL (/o\) SO I CAN SEE "NORTHERN DOWNPOUR." LIFE IS GOOD.
