i love how these are getting progressively more ghetto - we started out all well-lit with fancy editing and background music, then went to green room laptop-shot and now we have dark, slightly shaky car video. \o/

unsurprisingly, the more crappy and homemade they get, the more i love them. AND THIS ONE HAS SNARKY CAPTIONS! \o/ and andy skib omg he is so fucking cute!

in other news, i got a pedicure today, which is good under normal circumstances, but was EXTRA GOOD today because last time, i decided to get wild and get a color other than red for the first time in, omg, seriously like 5 years, probably. my toenails are always red. and for the last few weeks, they weren't, and it was not ok with me. yes, i know that's ridiculous, but i feel so much better now. XD

i bought the virgin suicides and rant (chuck palahniuk) today. \o/

i am obsessed(!) with mark & chelsie's hip-hop from SYTYCD the other night. cannot. stop. watching. ♥_♥ (ok, i have also been rewatching their contemporary and argentine tango somewhat obsessively. stfu.)

nothing else to say, really. nothing else interesting, anyway. (because OBVIOUSLY my adventures in pedicures are fucking RIVETING, duh.)

and just because i don't say it enough: i adore you, flist. i hope you know that. ♥♥♥♥

OMG I love having red toenails, too! But I recently let my older sister paint them with French tips and they look all pretty. So yay for toenails and change!

I always end up with red toenails too, I think it's like the classic look for pedicures. I always get confused when I see someone leave with like pink-tangerine-colored nails...I'm weird that way lol. I just don't know what would look good with that color.

Ditto on being obsessed with M&C, the more I watch that video, the more in love I fall with that dance. It's just so innovative and gorgeous and heartbreaking and before SYTYCD I didn't even know hip-hop could have that kind of effect.

And thanks for the DCook vlog, he's so adorable, every time I see him on screen, I have this vague urge to give him a huge hug...he's like an rl woobie lol.

yeah...i had sort of a really bright, like...watermelon kind of color? it was a pretty color but i hated having it on my toes. :( but now all is right with the world!

seriously...i loved josh/katee's "no air" a few weeks ago, too, but m&c's routine is even better to me. idk if it's just because i adore them or what, but it breaks my heart every time i watch it.

I've been trying so hard to get into SYTYCD this year (I've never really followed it that closely before) and failing at it for the most part, but wow, that Mark and Chelsie routine. It keeps popping up on my flist and I have to stop and watch it every time. I think I finally get it. I love the part at the end when she loses it.

I've only just gotten into the show too. The key for me is fast-forwarding. I watch the dances and the judging only. Sometimes I might go back and watch some of the filler footage but mostly I just skip it. It's about the dancing!
