AI song spoilers.

Syesha: "I Believe" by Fantasia (lol, didn't lakisha do this last year?)
David Cook - "Innocent" by Our Lady Peace (love)
Carly Smithson -- "The Show Must Go On" by Queen (could be good...or not)
Brooke White -- "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor (yawn)
Jason Castro -- "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland (he's doing the IZ version, should be good)
Michael Johns -- "Dream On" by Aerosmith (will be awesome if he doesn't fuck up)
Kristy Lee Cook -- "Anyway" by Martina McBride (idk)
David Archuleta -- "Angels" by Robbie Williams (STFUUUUUUUUUUU. i love this song. do not love him. sigh.)

mostly pretty decent choices. am vaguely nervous for my boyfriend.

i was like, spoilers! read? not read? want? do not want? oh, what the hell :)

i am very, very excited about dcook and castro. really, really good choices. brooke, not wildly thrilling but she knows exactly who she is and it should work really well for her. michael johns, well, he may sing it really well, but it's so ridiculously wrong for the ostensible theme, and the reason i love that is, when i was in catholic high school we got our class rings at a special mass junior year, and one of the burnouts sang that song. accompanied himself on the piano, even. all the parents were like, huh, and it was kind of wonderful. so, go michael.

everyone else, we'll see. except that i am so GODdamn annoyed that kristy lee gets to sing country again and therefore saves her ass another week.

Oh my god, I was literally talking, like last week, about how someone (er, DCook specifically, actually) should do The Show Must Go On because it's one of two of my favourite Queen songs that haven't been done on AI recently -- AND LO AND BEHOLD, THE UNIVERSE LOVES ME. !! She had better do well, omg. I'm so, so excited.

And I really hope Michael Johns does well, Jason should be fun, Brooke'll probably be cute, and I'M SO PUMPED FOR DCOOK, mostly because I'm sure he's so excited for it, WHICH MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY FOR HIM FJKLFS GO BABY GO. \o/

Michael Johns -- "Dream On" by Aerosmith

OMFG, that's 10x of amazing. It's weird that he's sort of becoming my favorite, because he's so random, but I like him a lot.

Noooooooooo, Jason!!! Why must you dash my dreams and hopes by doing my LEAST. FAVORITE. SONG. OF ALL FUCKING TIME.????? *cries in my Lucky Charms*

Also, Carly, wtf are you thinking?

I am with you, bb, on Baby David's song, btw. I love that song and do not love him and find myself very conflicted. I don't know whether to hope I don't like his version or to hope I really love it. :/

NOT!

David Archuleta -- "Angels" by Robbie Williams (STFUUUUUUUUUUU. i love this song. do not love him. sigh.)

Oh lord! RW is one of my favorite singers and I don't think anyone can compare to his original.
Jessica Simpson did a version of it that made me hate her even more. lol

i'm so excited for dcook now that i've heard that song. as for michael, i want him to do well, but i think the judges will get on his case for being rocker-ish again, even though aerosmith is more bluesy rock, i think. but i dunno.
