holdmesam, some chick's backstage encounter tonight.
About this time Carly comes in and sits down next to Archie. Jerry, Diana, and Lisa, I give her your messages and she gets so excited and hugs me. She says to thank you all so much and she can’t wait to meet you. Michael is called away around this time so he hugs me and says he’ll come back later. Carly asks if I’ve talked to Cook yet today and I say no. Am I that obvious? She texts him and he comes in like a minute later. He gives me a hug and sits down next to me. I’m wearing a Kansas shirt btw, and he compliments me on it and gives me a high five. I also brought him a crossword book. Archie called me a suck up then! I never expected him to say anything like that. BTW, Jess, Cookie was a little scruffy!
I tell him I have a ton of questions and he turns and faces me Indian-style and says, “go.” Jess’ stuff first: For graphic design, he said “web design and advertising,” he thanks me and all of you guys so many times about Lindsey Rose and he tears up a little. He cracks up at the word of the day thread and says you’re awesome, Jess. I tell him that Eta Carinae will be exploding not imploding, and he says “yes!” and that he was right the first time. He then goes on to explain all that for like 10 minutes seriously. He must be obsessed with this thing. LOL. Carly and Archie are sitting there shaking their heads and rolling their eyes and he laughs at them and punches Archie in the arm. ArchuCook!
Karen’s stuff now: He said he’d love to go to Disneyland with you. When I told him about your question, I said it was inappropriate and Carly covered his Archie’s ears. I’ll put it in small font: his favorite sexual position. He said he didn’t care and to ask it, so I did. So embarrassing. He dies laughing and blushes, as does Carly, and makes a shifty face and asks if you’d like to find out. Karen, your dreams are coming true! He says he’d answer later. Just to keep the awkwardness going, I tell him Sandra’s mic stand comment and he laughs and says it could be arranged. Carly takes Archie and says they should leave us alone. OMG. She’s such a mommy to him.
I give him the book and the list and phone numbers are at the front and I said to call Jess, Karen, and Mereille first and he says he will. He then asks if my number is in there. I say no and he asks me for it and puts it in his phone. OMG, I’m dead. Steph, I showed him the iCook in the book and he loved it and said it was clever. I asked him what he’s singing tonight, but he wouldn’t tell me. He still doesn’t believe there are spoilers out there. I begged him, but he wouldn’t give in. Annie, I told him that you’re going to die if you don’t meet him and he laughed and said to force your mom to bring you. Danny, he said the reasoning behind the Analog Heart title is a secret, but I told him how much we all love it. I told him about the surprise (fanbook) and he wanted to know what it was, but I said since he didn’t tell me I couldn’t tell him either. David, he thanks you for thinking he’ll be in the top three and he can’t wait to come back to Blue Springs. Emily, he says he can’t choose a favorite OLP song and he’d love to sing any of them with Raine. About this time, he takes my list and says we’re a nosy bunch of people. Ramiele and Jason walk by now (they’re ALWAYS together) and wave and say hi, but don’t stay. David laughs that I don’t seem to care that they’re leaving. I tell him what Danny said about a Team Nigel shirt and I explain Team Nigel to him and he says Chikezie talked about that! They’ve been discussing our thread! He says Nigel would probably want him to wear a shirt with his name on it. LOL.
Someone comes in and say they have all to go now, so he says he’ll he see me tonight and I ask him to give Brooke Jenna’s letter since I didn’t see her, and he agrees. I also say I have a hug for him from Jenna, so there you go Jenna. I see Syesha as I’m walking out and I tell her that you love her, David. She loves you too, btw. Archie comes back and gives me a hug and says to have fun tonight. And OMG, best moment ever, as I’m leaving, Cook yells back, “missionary!”

I was a day late - his friend Suzanne was going to have him call me the next time she saw him, but then he got called back for the Wildcard so the next time she saw him was 7 am before he got on a flight. :( Sadfaaaace. Haha.
