yay, jdoh back on tv!
"Veronica Mars" alum Jason Dohring is reuniting with the show's producers, Warner Bros. TV and Silver Pictures, with a co-starring role on "Moonlight," their new series for CBS. The drama centers on a private investigator (Alex O'Loughlin) who is a vampire. Dohring will play ancient vampire Josef. He replaces 60-year-old Rade Serbedzija, who played the part in the pilot presentation before the character was reconceptualized as a young, mischievous hedge-fund trader.

so is this show gonna suck? i have no fucking idea who alex o'loughlin is!

EDIT: there's a trailer for the show here, it looks kind of good. no jdoh; he's taking the place of the older gentleman who was in the limo at one point, i believe. on the downside, this show is going to be on friday nights. timeslot of death not ftw. :x

ETA: oooh, the BB8 house looks AWESOME! omg i can't wait for it to start, lmao.

hee, i've never seen angel or ghost whisperer, so i've got that going for me in this case, i guess. and i quit watching VM when lamb died (not BECAUSE he did, but just because i didn't care anymore), so i just miss jason.

i don't know. i love vampires and i love jason, so hopefully this'll be ok!

it's funny because while I do think he can be great given the right material, after seeing him in almost every ep(or was it every ep?) for two seasons as Logan, I honestly don't want to see watch him in anything for a while. which is the exact opposite of most everyone on my flist;) but I do think he's a good actor and hope he does well in general.

I loved Angel and I don't think Moonlight is a ripoff or anything (vampire lore was around a long time before Joss and Buffy), it's just that CBS is using some of the exact phrases that the WB used to promote Angel and that unsettles me. 'cause Angel was this great, dark noir-ish show, and this show looks like it might be aiming for that type of feel but it just doesn't seem like it gets it right. but again part of that could just be the promos, honestly I think CBS frequently just does bad promos, especially for its new shows.

with the Ghost Whisperer, I've never watched a full episode, I watched part of the pilot just to see Wentworth Miller but I just could not watch it, it was that bad to me. and I am still annoyed they cancelled Joan of Arcadia and put GW in its spot what can I say, I'm still pissed that Everwood, AD and bunch of other shows got cancelled, I can hold a grude;)
