You absoulutely can! Just butter the cupcake pan like you would a regular cake pan.

Ha, I'm eating a coconut cupcake right now. I had to stand in line outside the door for it! There's this place in Beverly Hills called Sprinkles that's really popular and I had never tried it before, so I walked over after work. $3.25 for one cupcake and worth every penny!
