yes, you were being reasonable. for what it's worth, i understand, and agree with, your point.

but a) things were going downhill fast - she was getting snippier by the minute, and you were heading into being really condescending, so i wanted to end things quickly, and b) as wrong/ignorant/douchebaggy as you think someone is, lecturing them in an lj community is probably not going to help.
