so i haven't watched battlestar galactica in, like...over a month. not for any reason, just because i sort of didn't feel like it? but i've been following along with stuff, so i more or less knew what had happened.

but anyway! i just spoiled the fuck out of myself for the finale, and just... :O x a billion. i mean, i read the thing about the one person last night, and i wasn't at all surprised, but i just read the twop recaplet, and the thing about those other people? holy guac!!!

um. that's all. i just need to express my shock. i'm definitely going to have to get caught up, because that shit is b-a-n-a-n-a-s.

I just watched the finale because I've been behind as well and that fucking blew my mind...both things! I'm not sure how they made the correlation between the song they were hearing and being toasters though...I mean..was the song playing on one of the Cylon base ships and they just tuned in or something?? LOL. My playback was a little spotty because I was surfing and burning DVDs at the same time so I'm going to have to watch it again, but did you see or hear?

My question is - how exactly do the cylons know a Hendrix song? (Even though it's a cover) Is it some weird connection to Earth? I am deeply amused by this. And also happy, cause I love that song :)

Yeah, I know..I've actually let myself get 3 or 4 episodes behind because I wasn't that interested, but THAT episode rocked..actually, the last few have kept my interest and that's partly because Mark Sheppard was great as Baltar's lawyer...

Hee...yeah, I so stopped being a Starbuck/Apollo shipper after Apollo said he loved Dee and that's why he married her...that kind of just sealed it for me where I preferred they went back to their original relationship as the beginning of S1.

To be honest, the preview for the second to the last episode pretty much spoiled it. There were shots of Tory, Tigh and Anders with Tyrol's voice saying "We're all cylons" (or such). Lame, SciFi, LAME.

no, it...i don't know. it started out really awesome, i think - very dark, but fantastic. but then there was a lot of love-triangle (well, rectangle) type stuff that i didn't care about. and i missed a couple of eps while i was visiting bee, and then i was behind and i just hadn't gotten motivated to catch up. from what i understand, it's been pretty awesome lately, tho, so i think it just lost a bit of steam mid-season.
