The Tudors focuses on the life and romances of the young King Henry VIII. The ten one-hour episodes take a look at the often overlooked early political relationships as well as Henry's trysts with such notable women as Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn. The series is shot on location in Ireland. Michael Hirst ( Elizabeth ) is the series creator, writer, and executive producer.

the tudors stars jonathan rhys meyers as henry viii, and he is hot. there are also lots of other hot people with whom i am not familiar, and in more important news, there is CALLUM BLUE(!!!), who some of you know as "mason" on dead like me, or if you didn't watch that (which you should've, it's fucking fabulous), as "viper" the hot bike-racer-messenger dude who kissed meredith in that one episode of grey's anatomy.

the first two episodes are streaming here. and it's showtime, which between weeds and dexter has a lot of love from me, so i expect it to be good. i watched about half of the pilot online the other night (i was having connection issues or i would've kept watching) and i thought it was great. sex and intrigue and stuff. awesome.

Don't forget Henry Cavill, who is the ONLY reason why I got Showtime way back in MAY when they first announced that they were making this show. I feel pathetic, but I can't help it. There aren't any words in any language to describe how pretty that man is. Plus the show also features his bare ass, and there is nothing wrong with Henry Cavill's bare ass :)

Oh no! Please tell me that you watched The Tudors with the VIP link that I gave you last week and not on the Showtime website! If you did the latter, you missed so much! Namely, a sexy, sweaty, and naked Henry Cavill! I just watched the episodes on the Showtime site and realized that they were edited. So sad. I can't help but think of those poor people who were deprived of the privilege of watching The Cavill ride a girl doggie-style while flexing his gorgeous ass muscles. So sad.

They've been running previews of this after The L Word (which I'm watching this season) and it looks very, very good. I 've always though Jonathan Rhys Meyers was hot, but I was pleasantly suprised to see Callum in it as well.
