*cries with you* Aw, that is lovely (and I love how it builds), but part of me was hoping they would reuse a classic S1 song like "Paint the Silence." I think that is the song I most strongly associate with The OC, although probably not appropriate for the finale.

it's funny - the first two seasons are a total blur to me, so i don't have any strong associations with any of the old songs. i think it's because i watched S1 & S2 on dvd in the space of a couple weeks, and it was a few months after my dad died, so everything from that time is pretty hazy. :/

i can't believe it's ending either, tho. especially after i've loved this season SO MUCH. :(

Seriously, i am practically crying right now...it better end up with Taylor and Ryan together. I read a possible spoiler the other day, that Autumn Reeser said that in the last episode she was going to be fitted for a "special dress"...hmmm, i hope it's what it implies to be, otherwise, this is very misleading. Just curious, how did you find out that this was going to be the closing song? It's really sad...
