Seriously. And this is about as close to a love letter to Isaiah Washington as Shonda Rhimes could manage. As much as I generally find "comparing opressions," so to speak, to be self-defeating, I have to say that you know the outcome would be different had a white actor called Isaiah the n-word.
The first time, I could accept that they had dealt with the issue "in house" and not fired IW. But he took that "free pass" as an opportunity to deny the entire incident, AND Shonda basically supported that as well, which is what I find most disgusting. His ass should be out the door and Shonda should be apologizing.
