the only person i ever need to hear sing "the prayer" is anthony callea anyway. (_kittenheels, you'd love this guy.) i was just watching all his old videos the other day and SQUEE i still heart this boy muchly. i know there were plans to bring him to the states but idk if that's still on now that he's out of the closet. :/

yes. she just looked so utterly gobsmacked, and you're right, it was so REAL. not some kind of "omg, i am SO shocked" stupid hollywood fake thing, total contrast to kanye's douchey bravado (altho i did cry during the song to his mom), and just generally awesome.

it's fun to joke about amy winehouse and girlfriend is a serious hot mess, but i feel for her, i really do, and her face in that moment was just...a little girl who can't believe someone picked her, you know? GOSH.

Exactly. Like, not even fifteen minutes before I saw that I made a joke to my grandma about Amy Winehouse being a crackhead or something, but her face in that moment. It was like she was waiting for someone to tell her they were kidding or something. Oh, Amy bb. Get yourself cleaned up, srsly. You deserve like a billion Grammies.

i really, really hope she gets it together. she's SO talented and unique and i worry that she's going to either die young or even just make SUCH a mess out of herself that she won't be able to have any kind of career. :(

Seriously. I mean, they aired an E! True Hollywood Story about her today WTF?! They barely had enough to fill an hour but like, it kills me that that's already what she's become, you know? And she can still pull herself out of it if she just gets it together. I'm so so worried that she'll be one of those tragic stories, though, and that she'll die young. She's insanely talented and deserves so much better than what she's doing to herself. Ugh, I hate watching people self-destruct. :(
