i cannot fucking believe i missed it! i have been stalking the tracking page for it like crazy, but when i went to bed the last thing it said was that it was in memphis and would be delivered tomorrow. why so speedy, fedex?!?!?!

That sucks, but at least you can pick it up today. As a Mac-owner, I'm happy for you, I hope you enjoy your new arrival ;) Seriously though, Fed-Ex's tracking page is never that accurate, it's usually right about the day, but never the time of day it's going to be delivered...or at least that was my experience.

FedEX, UPS, the post office - they all play by their own rules that defy time and logic.
I don't know if you know where Secaucus is (near Giants Stadium) but it's about 9-10 miles from me. I had a package take THREE DAYS to get here from UPS's facility. I think they were trying on my boots.

Mail from Arizona to Jersey took two days. And I stalk the tracking pages in the middle of my classes.

I'm jealous of your macbook. I want the Macbook Air (and a million dollars).

1. Of course, to quote GCH. 2. I was stalking my MacBook tracker like crazy when mine was en route. And when it finally arrived, I was sleeping. So I woke up and the first thing I did was check the FedEx yet again and I was all, "It was delivered? It's here!!" I still can't believe how fast it got from China to NJ.
