runningish:

twitchington // hip-hop: i loved the routine. napoleon & tabitha are pretty rad choreographers, imo. i'm happy to take them over shane (or dan, eep). they danced it really well. i'm still not super-fangirly over them, but i dug it.

courtney & gev // rumba: whoa, that was hotttt! the opening lift was a little sketchy, but otherwise i absolutely loved it. i still think gev is just the cutest thing EVAR.

comfort & chris // jazz: that was kind of weird but kind of awesome? the thing with the sheets seemed kind of pointless, but for the most part i like tyce's jazz routines more than his broadway stuff. i agree with the judges, tho, that it needed to be performed more than it was.

will & jessica // disco: i don't especially like either of them (will is wicked fucking hot, tho) and i always hate disco routines, so. that being said, i thought will was absolutely one million percent the best part - i was really trying to watch jessica but my eye was consistently drawn to him.

kourtni & matt // contemporary: i didn't LOVE the routine, but i liked it a lot and i think i would've enjoyed it more with a different dude, because tbh his face is just...i can't deal with it. i think i would've gotten a big girl boner if it'd been mark & chelsie, tho. XD

chelsea & thayne // quickstep: eh, idk. i didn't hate it. the only quickstep i've ever liked on this show was lacey & kam's last year.

mark & chelsie // hip-hop: eeeeeee i got goosebumps. i love them retarded amounts and that routine was AWESOME. hearts hearts hearts in my eyes! they are absolutely my favorites. OBVS.

joshua & katee // samba: i found them really overpraised last week and i thought danny & lacey's samba last year was super awesome and really hot, so i'm probably biased. i thought it was good and that he was much better than she was. ~~also, she's kind of a butterface, yeah, i said it.~~

I am okay with Katee personally. I think she's a great dancer, but the whole thing with her wanting to quit if she didn't make the top 20, I was like, wow... but I think she's talented.

I took it as "I wouldn't come back to audition", not that she would quit dancing forever, so I was a bit confused by their aghast-ness. I can understand how trying out for a show like that would be a huge roller coaster and how you wouldn't want to do THAT again, not necessarily other auditions.

Did you actually listen to that interview on Seacrest's website? When Ryan introduces him, David says, "Good morning", but it's all low and growly and tired. And it is AMAZING. It made my entire week. Mmph.

I love Mark and Chelsie when they dance, but I never really remember Mark otherwise. It's strange. But their routine was awesome last night.

Dude, Chelsie made me CRY. Her face, after Mark "stole" her heart? OMG. WOW. She's so expressive and open with her emotion. I LOVED that choreography too. I think Napoleon and Tabitha are in the running for my new favorite choreographer. That just KILLED me.

I liked Tyce's jazz routine too. I thought the judges were a little hard on them. Especially about the use of the cape. Like they have any say on how or when it's used. W/e.

anyways, on to sytycd...
- mark/chelsie were AWESOME, i absolutely loved it and i think it was probably the best routine of this season, so far. it was so emotional and intense and BELIEVABLE like the judges said.

- i love twitchington as well, actually they're still my favorites, and their routine was fun! \o/ also i love their intros.

- courtney and gev are growing on me as time passes, they're just so damn cute and their rumba was great, i think it was their best dance so far.

- i want jessica to leave asap, cuz i love will and i want him to have a better partner.

- and i cannot stand katee. \o/ haha. i just can't. but she dances amazingly, i admit. and joshua is cool, i guess? anyways, i'm sure they'll go far enough so i'll have to get used to it.

this show is amazing, i always wonder how come i haven't watched it before, haha.

i am so jealous that you go to see the majesty that is steven colbert in person.
