I have a very hard time enjoying things without sympathetic characters. And I've had a similar inability to connect with Seinfeld because of it.

I need to like at least one of the characters, at least half the time, or I just can't enjoy something. Other people clearly aren't this way. Which is why I find myself feeling like such a lowbrow twit when I can't get into the deep artsy stuff that some folks cream over.
