i am so, so, SO bored of serena being just ever so much better than blair at everything ever. and i am sick to death of both queen!bitch!serena and sweetness&light!serena. MAKE IT STOP. yes, part of blair's appeal has always been all that vulnerability just beneath her uber-bitch surface - but part of the appeal is also watching her own everyone's ass. yes, serena is the golden girl, everyone loves her, she is inherently made of diamond dust and perfection. i'm starting to see why people find dan so douche-y. it never really bothered me until tonight. however, the thing with him being tied to the statue made me think of veronica mars and the wonderful tradition of taping people to the flagpole. *pours one out for neptune high school*
nate...was awesome? wtf? i think chace's acting got better over the summer or something, idk, but i've enjoyed him significantly more this season than i did last season. and i genuinely liked him tonight. calling out dan on being a dick was fabulous, he was cute with that college chick, and starting a fight with like 10 dudes in a bar was hilarious and awesome.
this ep needed way more chuck. as does every ep ever, but, you know. what there was of him was good, if pointless.
speaking of pointless, hi vanessa! and i like vanessa, but talk about a pointless character, wow.
i hope next week is as hot as i think it might be. XD

I am glad that S/B feud is over for now. It's no fun when they fight, and hopefully the gals will reach an equal balance where they compliment each other instead of hurting each other. With Blair reasserting herself, of course, in an awesome fashion. I love Leighton more and more with each episode.
