see, this is the thing. if you're such a goddamn squeaky-clean fundamentalist, why are you watching soap operas??? why in the HELL would you let your kids near them???? it's at times like these that i respect, well, not those fucked-up polygamists, but, the AMISH. the ultra-hasidim. people who, deciding that their path is radically different from the prevailing state of things, have the intellectual and religious integrity to walk their walk. you just don't get to decide this for ME, people.

the thing about the AFA's campaign is, i don't think they really expect to succeed when they do this shit. i think it's self-aggrandizing, and perhaps most valuable in providing talking points for their antediluvian political candidates, who will have this to refer to- "my opponent did not support the AFA in its effort to sanitize the airwaves!" ugh.
