I buy all my music, even bands that I only have a casual interest in and including bands that I just want to check out. So yeah, I'd fully expect a real fan to pay for the music, and I'd be quite upset if a fan community I'm in starts uploading the artist's stuff. Just buy the CD/download legally. It's not that hard.
