I'd like to think my morals were consistent but I think for me it depends on the size of the artist. If it's someone huge, I don't get too picky about it all because of what they already earn, you know? But most of the music I'm into is indie/small artists and I wouldn't dream of not paying for their stuff if I want it. I go see them at shows and their CD sales dictate whether they get a hotel or sleep in their car before the next tour stop, y'know?
